Change the Pet System in PvP
Ok here's what all PvP players have recognized (if you haven't then :P)
1. When you start out in PvP you are assigned a pet...and it's also a lame lookin pet! 2. Factions gets a crab (lame) 3. Prophecies gets a wolf (booo) 4. Nightfall gets...gets...Heck I don't really care(???) But why not give us a freakin choice?!?!?!?!?!? Here's my idea: When you enter the isle of balthazaar training area with Charm Animal equip in your skill bar, you have several choices to which pet you get, they're all set up in a little cage or even just set loose in the island for you to go find (get the adventurous part of it still in there). You go and charm a pet of your choice (leaving out the obvious, black widows, black moas, one time one get pets) and it's yours for however long you want and you can trade it in just like normal and get another one if you like. That way we all get the pets of our choice in PvP and aren't stuck with a lame pet BTW: in case some of you are dense (not implying *cough anyone I've argued with in the past 2 weeks cough* anyone in particular) hearty, dire, playful, and tame pets are in the "obviously left out" section. |

No. Different pets are the same as different armor and weapon styles - PvE gets cool looking stuff, PvP gets the functional stuff. Your wolf is exactly the same as my phoenix, mine just looks prettier, but I had to spend time to get it to lvl20.
Now, if you want to be able to buy pets with tournament rewards, that sounds okay, but since they're not items, I don't know how feasible it is. |

Actually, ALL OF THEM get Elder wolves. Always.
What PvP players can't decide is the evolution. An NPC in the Isle of the Nameless should let players choose between three pets. - Prophecies: *Black Dire Wolf. *Grey Elder Wolf. *White Hearty Wolf - Factions *Red Dire Crab *Blue Elder Crab *White Hearty Crab - Nightfall eh... *Dire Crocodile *Elder Lizard *Hearty Iguana Either that or this: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10175943 Would be good for the purpose. |

Deffinately would be nice to at least be able to choose from the different evoloutions and have at least 1 slashing and 1 piercing dmg pet. That way pets maintain all functionality they have in pve.

You can then use the Namepet opton to change that.
No one can know if you character is a PvP one or not. |
